Learning Outcomes

This assessment addresses the following Subject Learning Outcomes:

a. Analyse and present data graphically and critically evaluate summary statistics using Excel.
b. Justify data analysis methods to simple and multiple regression, and probability.
c. Apply a range of data analysis tools to inform problem solving and support business decision making.

Submission

The Online Test is available to students for 24 hours only.
Test is available to students from Saturday 11:59pm (AEST/AEDT) of Module 5.1 (Week 9) to Sunday 11:59pm (AEST/AEDT) of Module 5.1 (Week 9).

Context

This assessment will test your understanding of concepts and applications of confidence intervals and hypothesis testing. Online test consists of five comprehensive questions. You should answer all questions based on your understanding of the resources provided to you in Module 3.1 (Week 5) – Module 4.2 (Week 8).

Instructions

  • Online Test 2 consists of five comprehensive questions.
  • Numerical answers should be rounded to the nearest two decimal places (2dp).
  • You will have 90 minutes to complete the test. You will have only ONE attempt to complete the Test.
  • The Test will shut down after 90 minutes duration.
  • If you leave the test for a period of time prior to completion, the system will initiate a forced completion.
  • This is an open book Test.
  • Calculators are permitted (any type).
  • Please review the learning resources in Module 3.1 – Module 4.2 before undertaking the Test.
  • Access to this Test is via the Assessment tab in your Blackboard class. Respondus will be used to invigilate this test.

This test will be graded manually. The Learning Facilitator will provide feedback via the Grade Centre in the LMS portal. Feedback can be viewed in My Grades.
