Principles of Project Management

Aim

The aim of the assignment is to analyze a proposed project case for feasibility by answering/dealing with questions related to critical issues and challenges that may be encountered in project management initiatives.

Procedure

  • Individually you will work on the same case as presented in class within seminar 1. Groups are expected to attend the seminar together with their colleagues. Thus, only one member from each group should sign up on Pingpong for one of the available sessions of seminar 2.
  • Print and submit the assignment hard copy on the 4th floor in the boxes provided outside the teachers’ offices. The boxes will be marked “Business Case”. Deadline for submitting the case assignment is Monday 18th Wednesday 20th September at 12.00 Noon.

Points to be discussed at the seminar:

  • Business case executive summary
  • Case analyses – methods and techniques used to argue for a business case.
  • Data sourcing and use.

Examination

The business case assignment is examined through a written submission. The assignment will be evaluated on the criteria indicated in the table below:
