A case of a lady who came to the GP for ending of a pregnancy. The GP discussed the guidelines with her and provided her with a printed leaflet over law of abortion. The patient was tearful because she will be unable take care of the baby and that 3 kids are enough for her. The GP explained to her the guidelines for abortion and the 3-day wait once being validated until starting of the procedure after 3 days, in a very calm and not threatened way even though the patient appeared unconvinced towards the plan.The Lady refused to wait for 3 days and wanted to take the pill on the next day visit claiming that she has to go for holidays. Moreover, the patient was unsure of her LMP nor her gestational age, The GP advised to refer her for an Ultrasound in order to make sure that she is not more than 12 weeks pregnant based on guidelines.
