Using your own company or start-up business idea, estimate how much money you will need at
various stages of your company’s development, based on your financial projections. Your financial
projections will help guide you when considering how to stage your funding round. The following
table is a guidelines to formulate your strategy.

It is important that you give an overview of your company as well as the target market, strategies,
etc. to set a context for the capitl raising strategy. A template of the slide deck can also be found on
the portal.

Students must have a minimum of 3 references which can include references supporting the
reason / justification to pursue a specific capital source, the URLs to accelerators, angel groups,
etc.
You will also be expected to submit a 1-page executive summary (800 words maximum) of your
business / business idea and your capital raising strategy.
