Late submission of the assessment will result in a late penalty mark. Penalties for late submission: Up to one week late, maximum mark of 40%. Over one week late, 0%. Only the Extenuating Circumstances Panel may approve a change to submission dates.

TASK DESCRIPTION
Task – Written Report – 2000 Words
You must select one disease and provide a report which includes the following: Introduction (250 words)
- A definition of the disease
- Levels of the incidence that demonstrate the severity of the health issue (Both worldwide and UK statistics)
Main Body (1500 words)
- Public health measures available
- The key determinants/risk factors of the chosen disease.
- Short-term public health consequences of the disease in a health or social care setting
- Long-term public health consequences of the disease in a health or social care setting
Conclusion (250 words)
Relevant published UK data and statistics must be included and referenced within the report. You can choose a health or social care setting of your choice.
