The Covid-19 pandemic hit hard in so many countries. The disease came at a time; not many were prepared for it. This thus led to it having diverse negative impacts almost immediately. The virus spread so fast all over the world because of the nature of the transfer. Countries did not plan to do anything at first because of a lack of knowledge about it, but with time, countries got more understanding about it and thus had a health care planning system to curb it (Fawcett, 2020).
The availability of mobile hospitals has become a widespread event. Health care systems were at risk because of contact, and there was a need to have a moving health care system. Those who felt they are affected can call the health care units, which send medical practitioners to administer the best services. Home-based care has become a significant aspect during this period as well. Due to hospitals’ congestion and reduced contact, there has been an increase in home-based care, which became useful.
Hospitals have had a scarcity of resources and gear for doctors and nurses. After the pandemic struck, there has been an improvement of resources, and the quality is better. The government has had to invest more in the hospital sector and also in protecting the practitioners. Apart from this, hospitals and governments have come up with legitimate research on the health system. The government has been able to research various drugs and be dependent on the production of hospital facilities. Previous hospitals did acquire facilities, but now there has been a decrease in that because they are locally available (Zuckerman, 2012).
Coordination of communication has been enhanced in the health care system. There is a number that individuals can contact in case of symptoms. This has made it easy for the government to access them. Through the health care system, the government has used all channels to ensure that people get proper education on the pandemic. People thus have vast knowledge on how to prevent the disease. In the process of following these procedures, they have been able to curb other conditions as well The pandemic has had its effects felt, but with the proper plans put in place by the health Carr system, there has been a reduction in the adverse effects (Dowling, 2020). Adequate health care planning has helped people cope with the disease and know how to stay safe from its effects.
