The summative assessment of managing knowledge and information systems module is a coursework
submission as a written report.
It is important to appreciate the significance of academic and professional sources and recognise the
limitations of web sources. Therefore, you are required to use only peer reviewed published
academic/professional articles, books, business/industry reports to support your discussions.

Assessment Questions 
1. Discuss the strategic importance of knowledge management in helping organisations to achieve their long‐term objectives.
2. Evaluate the impact of emerging technologies like radio‐frequency identification (RFID) on the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes.
3. Discuss one implementation challenge and one success factor of RFID technology in manufacturing sector.
Format:
For coursework, please use font size 12 for body text and the typeface (font) should be Arial or Times New Roman with minimum 1.5 spacing.
•For headers and titles, please use font size 14. Your submission must have standard margins and page numbers.
Structure:
Your report should be structured according to the followings:

2. Main section(s) You need to create relevant headings. Don’t copy and paste the questions as headings.   Use the marking scheme sections as a guide. All the section except references must be numbered.
All the figures/tables used in the report must have captions and, wherever needed, properly referenced and mentioned in the report.
